It is sometimes considered to be a variety of Rosa odorata.As its name suggests, it is the largest species of rose.Rosa gigantea is an evergreen shrub with long, spiny branches. These branches scramble over the ground, climbing into surrounding vegetation and attaching itself by means of its thorns.
